The Simpson Institute - For the Upper Largo Community

The Simpson Institute is for the benefit of the whole of the community of Upper Largo and its surrounding area and is managed by a management committee of local residents  on behalf of the Trustees of the hall.  

 

In order to obtain funds for the necessary 

maintenance and renovation of the building, the management committee organises a varied programme of events. Everyone is encouraged to attend in order to support the hall's continued existence.

The hall is for use by the local community and is 

available for hire.  As a typical village hall it offers a large open space giving flexibility for various function types from ballroom dancing to weddings. There is also a smaller committee room which is the ideal place for private meetings involving up to 10 people.

Kitchen facilities are also available should simple catering be required.
